Privacy Policy

Who we are
Seatd is a restaurant discovery and booking-request site for Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad, operated by Seatd. This policy explains what personal data we collect through seatd.pk, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. Questions? Email founder@seatd.pk.
What we collect
We collect only what you give us when you request a booking:
- Your phone number, so we can reach you on WhatsApp
- The venue, date, time and party size you request
We do not require an account, an email address or a password to use the site. Standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) are collected automatically by our hosting provider for security and reliability, as with any website.
We do not currently run analytics or advertising trackers on seatd.pk. If that changes, this policy and a cookie notice will be updated before any tracking goes live.
Why we collect it

Third parties
We share data only with the services needed to run the site:
- Vercel — hosting
- Google Sheets — where booking requests are recorded so we can act on them by phone or WhatsApp
- WhatsApp — the channel we use to confirm your booking with you
We never sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
Booking requests are kept for as long as needed to fulfil the request and to keep a record of demand for a given restaurant. You can ask us to delete your phone number and booking history at any time.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Ask what data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Ask us to delete your data
- Object to how we use it
To exercise any of these, email founder@seatd.pk. We aim to respond within 30 days.
Children
Seatd is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site changes. The effective date above always reflects the current version.
