What it is

Do Darya is a row of restaurants built out over the water on the far side of DHA Phase 8, about twenty five minutes from Clifton. The draw is the sea, not the cooking. Almost every place serves the same broad menu of seafood, karahi and barbecue, so the choice is really about which deck you want to sit on and what you want to pay.

Getting there and when to go

Getting there
About 25 minutes from Clifton via DHA Phase 8. Drive or take a ride; there is no public transport worth using.
Best time
Weekday evenings. Friday and Saturday after 8pm the road backs up and the waterside tables are gone.
Parking
Shared lots along the front. Fills from about 8pm at the weekend.
Seating
Waterside tables are given out on arrival almost everywhere, not reserved by section.
Weather
Open decks. In May and June the humidity makes the inside rooms the better choice.
